In commemorating the June 12,1993 presidential election, the Wife of the Former Governor of Ogun State joined her husband and other eminent people of Ogun State to embark on June 12 Democracy Walk. The walk,which took off from the June 12 Cultural Centre,Kuto in Abeokuta saw the former governor’s wife trekking along with her husband through Ibara-Totoro road, Ago-Ika road to the family house of Chief Moshood Kolawole Olawale Abiola in Gbagura.
After a brief stop at the MKO house,the train resumed it’s walk and all road led to MKO International Stadium, Kuto in Abeokuta where a carnival-like event was used to salute the courage and sacrifices made by the late politician and business mogul.
